Description

Designed as a standard light switcher by the United States Railroad Administration during World War I, the USRA 0-6-0 was one of the most successful small, tendered steam locomotives in North America. Featuring many standardized components, this plucky locomotive was suited to a variety of duties, from yard and industry switching to branchline freight work. Bachmann is excited to announce an update to the HO Scale USRA 0-6-0 utilizing new and existing tooling and featuring enhanced details with roadname-specific features such as prototypical tender styles and headlight arrangements. This reimagined classic also comes factory-equipped with dual-mode Soundtraxx® Econami™ DCC featuring a selection of whistles and bells, realistic chuffs, air pump, dynamo, and cylinder cock effects. Upgrade your steam-era switching operations with the new USRA 0-6-0 from Bachmann.

Features include:
• Authentic USRA standard design.
• Precision motor.
• Soundtraxx® Hyperdrive2™ Advanced Motor Control for refined low-speed operation.
• Flex-Map function mapping technology for reassigning function keys F0-F28 to any effect.
• Hyperlight™ equipped headlight and reverse light with Rule 17 operation or automatic direction control.
• Soundtraxx® Econami™16-bit polyphonic sound with user-adjustable sound effect and volume options.

• Newly tooled roadname-specific coal or oil tender with operating backup light.
• Operating LED headlight with roadname-specific placement.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Never had shopped before with Rainbow Railways (on-line), but they had the product I wanted, which I found with them through Google. Quick shipping and incredibly well packed (took a bit of time to unpack). As I ordered twice within a few hours, on request they refunded me postage of one order without a problem. Next time I will have a look at RR when shopping for model trains, got a good feeling from this experience.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Good price, good packaging, good delivery. But, very difficult to place and pay for order. Left item in basket for a couple of days before I could actually place and pay for order. Thought I was being scammed as I had entered my credit card and Paypal details on the order. Never had this problem before with other suppliers when placing an order. Be aware.
