Graham Farish 377-257A BR 16T Steel Mineral Wagon BR Bauxite (TOPS) N Gauge

Coal fuelled Britain during the twentieth century and much of this fuel was transported by rail. The 16 Ton Steel Mineral Wagon began as a wartime design, but following Nationalisation hundreds of thousands of these humble four wheel wagons would be ordered by BR to move coal around the UK, replacing the wooden-bodied wagons that had been inherited from the ‘Big Four’ railway companies and private owners.

This Graham Farish model depicts a wagon end and side doors, and the model features separately fitted door stops, brake gear, linkage and hand brake levers, and is fitted with metal buffers.

Staff have been very helpful in the past with an order where I had to swap out a container for a similar one . That’s good service as I was notified back then before sending , this allowed me to pick one I recall - simple and job done for the container order . Now today fits the bill for finding the popular wagon , plus a couple more , had one in stock which sold out in my local region . I’ve also found on this site others in the past at great deals too .
