The Bachmann 32-027YP Class 20 Twin Pack features two OO Gauge diesel locomotives representing D8000 and D8001, the first two members of the English Electric Type 1 fleet, later classified as the British Rail Class 20.
Both locomotives are finished in classic British Railways Green, making this an attractive twin pack for enthusiasts of early British diesel traction and modellers recreating the transition from steam to diesel operation.
The Class 20 became one of Britain's most successful first-generation diesel locomotive designs, particularly well known for its freight-hauling capabilities and distinctive single-cab arrangement.
This twin pack offers the opportunity to own models of the first two locomotives in the class, making it especially interesting for collectors of early British Rail diesel traction.
Both locomotives are offered as preowned in good condition and were tested on 10 October 2026, when they were confirmed to run well.
Both locomotives are DCC Ready, but neither model has working lights.
