Perfect for accompanying your rakes of freight wagons, this brake van is an intricate and authentic model of a LNER Dia.035 Toad E. Featuring crisp wooden panel detail, separate underframe and roof fixings, and detailed underframe, this extremely useful van is undoubtedly a must have for your freight train operations.
TT6080 is depicted in BR grey with ‘E’ prefix and numbered 133357.

History:
The LNER-built ‘Toad B’ brake van was based on an earlier North Eastern design and started to be turned out at Doncaster Works in 1928. They were distinctive in having boarded side duckets which had small windows that allowed to guard a line of sight along the train. A large number were inherited by BR at nationalisation in 1948 and could be found across the Eastern and North Eastern Regions, though they were soon replaced by more modern standard BR versions in the 1950s..
