PC2 - Quad Point Controller
This point controller allows you to easily change points on DCC
The PC2 One-Touch DCC™Point Controller enables you to quickly and easily control most popular 2-position 12-16V point motors, eg Peco, Hornby etc. Some coupling uncouplers and semaphore signals can also be controlled by point motors and so can also be controlled by this module.
Like all of our DCC modules it takes all of its power from the standard 2 wire DCC track or controller output and each also has a built in CDU which helps give the point motor a good boost of power without draining too much from the DCC supply all at once.
The point motor simply connects to the PC2 module with the 3 wires usually fitted and the module connected by 2 wires to a nearby piece of track or the DCC controller output - thats it! We use screw terminals on all our Point, Signal and Lighting effects modules to make it easy and quick to connect without needing to solder.
The module is designed to control a set of four point motors, although reliable operation will depend on the motors used and free movement of points etc so cannot be guaranteed.
