Revolution RT-PCA20-202E PCA Alumina Tank Wagon 4 Pack - N Gauge
This Revolution Trains N Gauge pack represents the British Alcan PCA alumina tank wagons used on traffic between North Blyth and Fort William.
This pack is finished in Debranded/faded Alcan condition, complete with ladders, and includes four uniquely numbered wagons: 55532, 55533, 55539, 55542.
Prototype Background
The prototype PCA powder tanks were built by Powell Duffryn in 1988 for alumina traffic to the aluminium smelter at Fort William. Following changes of ownership at the smelter, wagons often ran on for years with their branding stripped or allowed to fade before repainting into a new owner's livery - a familiar, well-used look on the West Highland line.
